Aquashape Liposuction Treatment in Milton Keynes
AquaLipo (also known as water-jet lipo, or water lipo) is a revolutionary liposuction technique which uses a water jet to gently remove excess fat.
The waterlipo procedure allows for fat cells to be preserved and re-injected into other areas of the body to create a long-lasting, youthful effect.
An efficient fat removal procedure
AquaLipo treatment at the Bloom Clinic in Milton Keynes begins with a consultation where you will have an initial assessment ultrasound scan so that the surgeon can determine the volume of fat to be removed. During the water liposuction procedure, water is pumped through the body, gently breaking down and separating the excess fat from other tissue without causing major trauma. A suction cannula then removes the fat as it is flushed through.
Water jet lipo: for a smoother result and easier recovery
AquaLipo is far more gentle fat removal procedure than traditional liposuction, and is done under local anaesthetic – meaning a faster recovery and less downtime for you. Unlike in traditional liposuction, the surgeon can continually assess the contouring and shape throughout the procedure, meaning a smoother and more natural final result.
Aqualipo compared with Laser Lipo or Cryolipolysis
Laser Lipo uses laser applied to the skin to try to dissolve the fat underneath it whilst cryolipolysis uses freezing from the skin surface. These techniques are often promoted as non-surgical liposuction. It is difficult to estimate the amount of fat removed by non-surgical liposuction; also non-surgical fat removal relies on your body’s metabolism to wash out the treated fat from the body. Lastly, many treatment sessions are usually needed for non-surgical liposuction.
Aqualipo is a minimally invasive fat removal surgery that allows removal of the amount of fat estimated on ultrasound scan. This fat is removed in one session so you can soon start to enjoy your new body.
Aqualipo vs Traditional Surgical Liposuction
Traditional liposuction works by using physical force to tear away the fat from under the skin. This liposuction surgery causes a lot of trauma to surrounding vessels leading to substantial bruising and longer recovery times. Water jet lipo uses gentle pressurised jets of water to dislodge the fat cells (almost like plucking grapes from a bunch) whilst keeping surrounding vessels out of the way. This results in less trauma to the tissues and quicker recovery. As general anaesthetic is not required for AquaLipo, you can return home few hours after the procedure.
