Shape-enhancing Buttock Enhancement
The technique of transferring fat from parts of the body to the buttocks is a great way of creating a natural, enhanced shape. The treatment works by removing fat from other areas of the body and re-injecting it into the buttocks. The procedure creates a very natural shape, and is incredibly efficient. Buttock fat transfer process has a high success rate – and because the fat is the body’s own substance, there is a very low chance of fat cell rejection. The results will be immediate, with a noticeable enhancement. Within three months, an average of between 70 and 80% of the fat transferred to buttocks will remain – this is the shape that will be retained.
How does the fat transfer procedure work?
After an initial assessment and examination at the clinic in Milton Keynes, Dr Boye will remove fat from areas of the body including the hips, inner and outer thighs, stomach and flanks. Fat removal is done with a very gentle form of liposuction, using a very delicate cannula to minimise trauma. The fat that is removed is then re-distributed throughout the layers of muscle – giving the re-injected fat cells a good blood supply, which is key in ensuring the best chance of survival for the re-positioned fat cells.
What is the recovery process like after Brazilian butt-lift?
Because of the gentle liposuction technique, the trauma to the body is minimised, which means that recovery time is relatively quick. There will be initial bruising and some swelling, but this should subside within a couple of weeks. You’ll need to wear a body compression garment on the liposuction area for between four to six weeks after the treatment. On average, you’ll need to take between 7 to 10 days off work after the procedure.
