Breast fat transfer – the natural breast enhancement
Breasts are an integral part of a woman’s appearance, and the way that you feel about the appearance of your breasts is very important in terms of your body image and identity. Breasts change naturally over time, but often after pregnancy and breastfeeding, they are noticeably less full and firm, and many women choose to have treatment to enhance the appearance of their breasts. Breast implant surgery is very common, but in recent years there has been a demand for a safer, non-surgical breast enhancement. Breast fat transfer is a particularly good natural approach for those who want a subtle uplift and increase in fullness. This natural breast enhancement procedure can achieve an increase of between one and two cup sizes, maintaining a natural shape.
What are the benefits of non-surgical breast enlargements?
Unlike in breast implant surgery, the substance going in to the breast is completely natural: just fat cells from another area of your body. As well as this non-surgical approach being far safer, this fat transfer technique means the final result will look and feel completely natural. Once the fat has been injected, the breast remains elastic and moves naturally. Because the procedure is less invasive than breast implant treatments, there is no scar, and there are none of the risks associated with surgery and general anaesthetic. Recovery time is also quicker – meaning you can be up and about and getting on with life much more quickly
How is breast fat grafting done?
Fat is collected from other areas of the body by a very gentle liposuction technique which preserves the viability of the fat cells. These are processed in such a way as to obtain the maximum amount of fat cells which are then re-injected into the breasts, giving them a natural, fuller appearance.

Is natural breast enhancement safe?
Yes. Fat grafting procedures have been available for more than ten years now, and technique has long been used successfully in reconstructing breasts after surgical removal. Autologous breast transfer has not been shown to increase the risk of a woman getting breast cancer. During your initial consultation, Dr Boye will do an assessment ultrasound scan to see if there are any areas of concern.
What is the recovery time like?
Natural breast augmentation can be done at Bloom Clinic under local anaesthesia as a single day procedure, which means you can return home soon after your treatment and there is usually little or no disruption to your normal activities. But, we do describe the newly implanted fat cells as being like seedlings in a nursery, so we advise taking a couple of days rest to allow them settle in.
What is the cost of natural breast enhancement treatment?
An initial consultation with Dr Boye at Bloom Clinic in Milton Keynes will determine how the procedure will work for your individual requirements, and how much fat will be transferred. Prices for the treatment start at £3,500.
